camp.

well, camp has come and gone. we had a great time, although we missed some very important people who where not there. i won't go through their names, but you know who you are.


anyway, although camp was great, it hit me today how much all of my friends mean to me. all cheesyness aside, my life basically consists of my friends (and of course my family) and myself.

I was thinking, "wow, someday i'm going to be done with school". And then, I'll move somewhere. And I'll miss all of you very much. OK, so all cheesyness was not asside.

ANYWAY, good times though last night. A "no hard alcohol" policy was put into place and (I believe) followed (right?) at least for the most part. This was to attempt to keep some of the focus on talking, "chilling", cooking food, etc, and not on passing out and throwing up in the cabin (*cough* dan *cough*). I'm just gonna post some photos I think, none of them too spectacularly great, but oh well.

could this be what i think it is!? a rare poisin(en/on?)es tree frog found only in taliwaker country? I don't think so actually, but it is a very small and cute frog. to my knowledge, this frog was soon released, despite dan's desire to eat it. or maybe it was kurt that wanted to eat it. either way, nobody ate it.

this photo might look "risque" but there were much, much worse photos. i will say that i didn't quite make it into the naked sauna club this year, mainly because i was feeling too emo (and probably not drunk enough), however martin and dan deffinetly got their badges. i have more photos of naked dan that i'd like to admit, mainly because dan was everywhere there was light. the fire mainly. for all of you ladies out there, you'll be pleased to know that dan trims. he doesnt shave though (weak sauce)

yep, you guessed it! that is my bed! it was a good night of sleep actually. and before you say, "aw, nobody else slept outside with you?!", let me say that this is true, HOWEVER randy and ian were up... all night... about 30 feet from me so I had company (sort of) and they watched for bears. actually i remember waking up throughout the night and hearing them say "omg a bear!" (i think refering to me turning over in my sleep). i got a bit damp.

the table comlete with tons of shit on it. there was stuff everywhere, it was amazing. i felt sort of ghetto/white trashish actually, all the beer bottles/hot dog bags/etc laying all over the ground. oh well, we cleaned it up :)
